Hello, my name is Ryan Eaton
I have a love of learning and I’m driven to solve problems.

I have worked on the following projects
At Kaiser Aluminum I worked as a process engineering intern where I led a project to reduce planned scrap in the sheet and coil department. Performed statistical analysis and data manipulation on large data sets to correlate defects with manufacturing process variables.
I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to make an impact on such a large scale.

At Continuous Composites I worked as a materials engineering intern where I performed sample prep, optical microscopy, image analysis, and tested proprietary toolpathing software for Continuous Composites’ robotic additive manufacturing system.
I had the opportunity to deep dive into the material characteristics of carbon fiber in a real-world environment which led me to become a materials science major.
Summer 2022
9-weeks
On the Case Western Baja team I work on the executive board as the panels and composites lead. I am responsible for the design and fabrication of all of our car’s panels, I assist other subteams in materials selection and testing, and I am a presenter for both our podium finish sales and design presentations.
The team is a vibrant community of engineers who (like myself) love to learn and enjoy building things.

As a member of Troop 211, I was elected to serve as senior patrol leader for a term of six months. Throughout that term, I guided a group of roughly 30 scouts during weekly meetings, monthly camping trips, and a week-long summer camp at Camp Parsons where we earned honor troop. In order to earn the rank of Eagle Scout I led a group of 20 of my peers in the construction of a 20-foot-long bridge that stands to this day.
From leadership skills to first aid to hand forging to wilderness survival, scouting taught me how to find enjoyment in everything I do.
Eagle Scout
I do my best to stay active
I am a three-time Allstate jazz pianist and I founded a 6 piece jazz combo with my friends to earn some extra money in high school.
Music is something that allows me to take a break from an otherwise busy life. It is an aspect of my life that I don’t think I could ever give up.
It encourages me to be creative, embrace humility, and find inspiration in the work of others.

I enjoy backpacking and climbing in my free time. Being outdoors helps me stay active and makes me want to do more. After growing up in north Idaho I can never go long without being in nature.
